Review: Progressive does not pay chaims honestly!
I was a Progressive Insurance customer for 14 years. In that time I had no accidents and no tickets. I had never made a claim.

Then, one day, I came out of a store and saw a ding in my fender. A lady standing nearby told me she saw what happened. She said an SUV with a swing out spare tire carrier (The kind over the tailgate) was parked next to me and that guy accidentally let it swing out and hit my fender and hood. He then drove away without leaving a note on my car.

This should have been covered under the comprehensive portion of my policy as vandalism ($100 deductable) Instead, the Progressive Claims dept declared it was a COLLISION!!! (thereby making me liable to pay a $1000.00 DEDUCTABLE!!!)

Yes, They called it a collision even though NO INVOLVED VEHICLES WERE RUNNING OR MOVING OR EVEN OCCUPIED!!!

I immediately canceled my 2 current policies and moved over to Amica. Progressive then billed me for $50 early cancellation PENALTIES! I refused to pay them and then they DINGED MY CREDIT REPORT!

PROGRESSIVE REFUSED TO PAY MY CLAIM HONESTLY. AND THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY DISHONEST AND RUTHLESS ABOUT MONEY.

I found out the hard way why their prices are lower. They don't pay your claim!

Review: BEWARE!!!
They sucker you in with great rates and then change your quotes, up your rates, and get this, it'll cost you 70 bucks to drop 'em! Don't do it, you'll be sorry.
